ESG\/CSR Policies<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

GL events has launched a three-year plan to measure and reduce its carbon footprint across the Group.  This plan encompasses the implementation of approximately 100 hectares of photovoltaic panels in Group units.  This strategy also involves reducing waste emissions as part of a circular economy that is as virtuous as possible: encouraging asset rotation and reusing structures and materials. An objective has been set to reduce consumables by 25%, including packaging, carpets, and food waste, all combined with recycling initiatives with partners in various business sectors. Obviously, people remain at the center of all activities and actions, in different territories alongside our partners, engaging in responsible purchasing, contributing to the social and solidarity economy, and integration programs, with all our employees and key managers.<\/p>

MAJOR EVENTS 2023 – GLOBAL LEVEL<\/b><\/p>\n

– Implementation of Group objectives proposing a 25% reduction in energy consumption, a 25% reduction in consumables, and the inclusion of 100 hectares of photovoltaic panels;<\/p>\n

– An ambitious energy efficiency plan supported by local investments (LED lamps, etc.);<\/p>\n

– A carbon audit conducted by Ecoact revealed a 22% decrease in emissions compared to the audit report published in 2019;<\/p>\n

– Energy performance, safety, and\/or waste management audits;<\/p>\n

– Implementation of the “Carbon Neutral Commitment for the Events Industry,” signed at the end of 2021;<\/p>\n

– 54% renewable electricity (47% for Exhibitions, 67% for Live, 51% for Venues). <\/p>

– 5 subsidiaries were certified with ISO 9001, the quality management standard;<\/p>

– Group facilities and activities are certified in France and abroad (except China) by the “Safe & Clean” label, a guarantee of efficiency and safety related to sanitary facilities;<\/p>
